1 Corinthians 7:10
Print
And unto the married I command (yet not I, but the Lord): let not the wife depart from her husband.
But unto the married I give charge, yea not I, but the Lord, That the wife depart not from her husband
But to the married [believers] I give instructions—not I, but the Lord—that the wife is not to separate from her husband,
But to the married people I give charge—not I but the Lord—that the wife is not to separate from her husband.
And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
To the married I give this command—not I, but the Lord—a wife is not to leave her husband.
I’m passing on the Lord’s command to those who are married: A wife shouldn’t leave her husband,
To those who are married I have a command, and it is not from me but from the Lord: a woman is not to separate herself from her husband
I instruct married couples to stay together, and this is exactly what the Lord himself taught. A wife who leaves her husband
But to the married I enjoin, not *I*, but the Lord, Let not wife be separated from husband;
But to the ones having married I command (not I, but the Lord), that a wife not be separated from her husband—
But to them that are married, not I but the Lord commandeth, that the wife depart not from her husband.
Now, I have a command for those who are married. Actually, it is not from me; it is what the Lord commanded. A wife should not leave her husband.
I will say this to people who have married. (This is not my rule. It is a rule that comes from the Lord himself.) A wife must not leave her husband.
Next I command the married (it is the Lord’s command not mine): A wife is not to leave her husband
To the married I give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not separate from her husband
To the married I give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not separate from her husband
Now I give this command for the married people. (The command is not from me; it is from the Lord [C Jesus taught on divorce; Mark 10:5–12].) A wife should not ·leave [separate from; or divorce] her husband.
And unto the married I command, not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband.
I pass this command along (not really I, but the Lord): A wife shouldn’t leave her husband.
For married people I have a command which is not my own but the Lord's: a wife must not leave her husband;
I command the married—not I, but the Lord—a wife is not to leave her husband.
Now I give this command for the married people. (The command is not from me; it is from the Lord.) A wife should not leave her husband.
To married people I give this command (not really I, but the Lord): A wife must not leave her husband.
To those who are already married my command, or rather, the Lord’s command, is that the wife should not leave her husband. But if she is separated from him she should either remain unattached or else be reconciled to her husband. A husband is not, in similar circumstances, to divorce his wife.
¶ And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife separate from her husband;
And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
But to the married I give instructions, not I, but the Lord, that the wife should not leave her husband
To the married I command—not I, but the Lord—a wife must not separate from her husband.
Now, for those who are married I have a command, not just a suggestion. And it is not a command from me, for this is what the Lord himself has said: A wife must not leave her husband.
And if you are married, stay married. This is the Master’s command, not mine. If a wife should leave her husband, she must either remain single or else come back and make things right with him. And a husband has no right to get rid of his wife.
Now to the married I command, not I, but the Lord, do not let the wife depart from her husband.
To the · married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): a wife should not separate from her husband
I pass this command along (not really I, but the Lord): A wife shouldn’t leave her husband.
To the married, however, I give this instruction (not I, but the Lord): A wife should not separate from her husband
But to the married I give instructions, not I, but the Lord, that the wife is not to leave her husband
But to the married I give instructions, not I, but the Lord, that the wife should not leave her husband
To those who are married, I give this command, which is not mine but the Lord’s: a wife should not separate from her husband—
Now I give this command for the married people. (The command is not from me; it is from the Lord.) A wife should not leave her husband.
To the married I give this command—not I, but the Lord—a wife should not divorce a husband
I give a command to those who are married. It is a direct command from the Lord, not from me. A wife must not leave her husband.
To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband.
To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): a wife must not separate from her husband.
Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband.
I have this to say to those who are married. These words are from the Lord. A wife should not leave her husband,
But for those who are married, I have a command that comes not from me, but from the Lord. A wife must not leave her husband.
To the married command not I, but the Lord, that the wife should not separate herself from the man.
To the married I give this command—not I but the Lord—that the wife should not separate from her husband
To the married I give this command—not I but the Lord—that the wife should not separate from her husband
To the married I give this command—not I but the Lord—that the wife should not separate from her husband
To the married I give this command—not I but the Lord—that the wife should not separate from her husband
I have a command, too, for married people—actually, it’s not just from me, it’s from the Lord: that a woman should not separate from her husband.
But to the ones having entered bibrit hanissuim (in covenant of marriage), I charge, not I but Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Adoneinu, an isha is not to separate from her ba’al (husband). [Mal 2:14-16]
And to the married, I command: (not I, but the Lord) Let not the wife leave her husband.
To the married I give charge, not I but the Lord, that the wife should not separate from her husband
To the married I give charge, not I but the Lord, that the wife should not separate from her husband
But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—a wife is not to be separated from her husband
To those who are married, here’s my command (to be clear, this isn’t merely my opinion; it comes from the teaching of the Lord Jesus): it is not right for a wife to leave her husband.
But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband
And here is what I say to those who are married. (And yet it is not what I say. It is what the Lord has said.) The wife may not leave her husband.
But to them that be joined in matrimony, I command, not I, but the Lord, that the wife depart not from the husband;
and to the married I announce -- not I, but the Lord -- let not a wife separate from a husband:
