1 Corinthians 5:6

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
Your boasting [over the supposed spirituality of your church] is not good [indeed, it is vulgar and inappropriate]. Do you not know that [just] a little leaven ferments the whole batch [of dough, just as a little sin corrupts a person or an entire church]?
[About the condition of your church] your boasting is not good [indeed, it is most unseemly and entirely out of place]. Do you not know that [just] a little leaven will ferment the whole lump [of dough]?
Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little leaven leavens the whole batch of dough?
Your bragging isn’t good! Don’t you know that a tiny grain of yeast makes a whole batch of dough rise?
Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know the saying, “It takes only a little hametz to leaven a whole batch of dough?”
Stop being proud! Don't you know how a little yeast can spread through the whole batch of dough?
Your boasting [is] not good. Do ye not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
Your boast is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
Your glorying is not good. Know you not that a little leaven corrupteth the whole lump?
Your proud talk is not good. You know the saying, “Just a little yeast makes the whole batch of dough rise.”
You should not be so proud of yourselves. Think about what yeast does in bread. A very small amount of yeast changes the whole loaf of bread.
Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough?
Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
Your ·bragging [boasting] is not good. You know the saying, “Just a little ·yeast [or leaven; C leaven is a small lump of fermented dough used to make a loaf rise, as yeast is today] makes the whole batch of dough rise [C yeast/leaven symbolizes the permeating influence of this man’s sin within the community; Gal. 5:9].”
Your rejoicing is not good: know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
It’s not good for you to brag. Don’t you know that a little yeast spreads through the whole batch of dough?
It is not right for you to be proud! You know the saying, “A little bit of yeast makes the whole batch of dough rise.”
Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast permeates the whole batch of dough?
Your bragging is not good. You know the saying, “Just a little yeast makes the whole batch of dough rise.”
Your boasting is not good. You know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough, don’t you?
Your pride in your church is lamentably out of place. Don’t you know how a little yeast can permeate the whole lump? Clear out every bit of the old yeast that you may be new unleavened bread! We Christians have had a Passover lamb sacrificed for us—none other than Christ himself! So let us “keep the feast” with no trace of the yeast of the old life, nor the yeast of vice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of unadulterated truth!
Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole batch of dough?
What a terrible thing it is that you are boasting about your purity and yet you let this sort of thing go on. Don’t you realize that if even one person is allowed to go on sinning, soon all will be affected?
Your flip and callous arrogance in these things bothers me. You pass it off as a small thing, but it’s anything but that. Yeast, too, is a “small thing,” but it works its way through a whole batch of bread dough pretty fast. So get rid of this “yeast.” Our true identity is flat and plain, not puffed up with the wrong kind of ingredient. The Messiah, our Passover Lamb, has already been sacrificed for the Passover meal, and we are the Unraised Bread part of the Feast. So let’s live out our part in the Feast, not as raised bread swollen with the yeast of evil, but as flat bread—simple, genuine, unpretentious.

Clean out the old yeast so that you will become like new bread. You are free from the old things. Christ, the Passover Lamb, has been killed for us.
Your glorying is not good. Know ye not, that a little sourdough impaireth all the gobbet [that a little sourdough corrupteth all the gobbet]?
Not good [is] your glorying; have ye not known that a little leaven the whole lump doth leaven?
