and Meonothai, who begot Ophrah; and Seraiah begot Joab, the father of the inhabitants of the valley of Charashim [that is, Craftsmen], for they were craftsmen.
And Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab the father of Ge-harashim; for they were craftsmen.
Meonothai became the father of Ophrah, and Seraiah became the father of Joab the father of Ge-harashim [the Valley of Craftsmen, so named] because they were craftsmen.

who was the father of Ophrah. Seraiah was the father of Joab, who settled a place called “Valley of Crafts” because the people who lived there were experts in making things.
And Meonothai begot Ophrah: and Seraiah begot Joab, the father of the valley of craftsmen; for they were craftsmen.
Maonathi beget Ophra, and Saraia begot Joab the father of the Valley of artificers: for artificers were there.
Meonothai was Ophrah’s father. And Seraiah was Joab’s father. Joab was the founder of the Ge Harashim. The people used that name because they were skilled workers.
Meonothai became the father of Ophrah. Seraiah became the father of Joab. Joab was the ancestor of the people who live in Ge-Harashim. Those people had special skills to make things.
Meonothai became the father of Ophrah, and Seraiah became the father of Joab, who was the father of Ge Harashim, because they were craftsmen.
