12:22 you have come. We are still in our earthly pilgrimage, and like the patriarchs (11:13), still look for the “city . . . to come” (13:14). Nevertheless, because of Jesus our forerunner, we have arrived by faith at the heavenly Jerusalem and may enter into the Most Holy Place in worship (10:19–22). See “Heaven” at Rev. 21:1.
