Asbury Bible Commentary – e. Reconciliation: Paul and the Corinthians (6:3–7:4)
e. Reconciliation: Paul and the Corinthians (6:3–7:4)
e. Reconciliation: Paul and the Corinthians (6:3-7:4)

Reconciliation continues to concern Paul, but here it is between himself and the Corinthians, not between God and sinful humankind. Just as God took the initiative to make reconciliation possible, Paul puts no stumbling block in anyone's path that might discredit his ministry (6:3). He has wronged no one, . . . corrupted no one, . . . exploited no one (7:2b). On the contrary, the conduct of his ministry commends him as a servant of God (6:4a; see 3:1; 4:2; 5:12).
