  17. But, knowing their hypocrisy, he said to them, “Why put me to the test? Bring me a denarius and let me look at it.”
  18. How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye.
  19. Beware of the Leaven of the Pharisees

    In the meantime, when so many thousands of the people had gathered together that they were trampling one another, he began to say to his disciples first, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
  20. You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the present time?
