  1. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
  2. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness.

  13. Now when all the people saw the thunder and the flashes of lightning and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking, the people were afraid and trembled, and they stood far off
  14. You shall make seven lamps for it. And the lamps shall be set up so as to give light on the space in front of it.
  15. Oil for the Lamp

    “You shall command the people of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, that a lamp may regularly be set up to burn.
  16. oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense,
  17. the lampstand also for the light, with its utensils and its lamps, and the oil for the light;
  18. and spices and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense.
  19. the lampstand of pure gold and its lamps with the lamps set and all its utensils, and the oil for the light;
  20. “Command the people of Israel to bring you pure oil from beaten olives for the lamp, that a light may be kept burning regularly.
  21. And they shall take a cloth of blue and cover the lampstand for the light, with its lamps, its tongs, its trays, and all the vessels for oil with which it is supplied.
  22. “And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall have charge of the oil for the light, the fragrant incense, the regular grain offering, and the anointing oil, with the oversight of the whole tabernacle and all that is in it, of the sanctuary and its vessels.”
  23. “Speak to Aaron and say to him, When you set up the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.”
