Romans 12:14-21

Revised Geneva Translation

¹⁴ Bless those who persecute you; bless, I say, and do not curse.

¹⁵ Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

¹⁶ Be like-minded toward one another. Do not be high-minded. But align yourselves with the humble. Do not be wise in your own eyes.

¹⁷ Repay no one evil for evil. Provide honorably in the sight of all mankind.

¹⁸ If it is possible, as much as you can, be at peace with all mankind.

¹⁹ Dearly beloved, do not avenge yourselves. But give Wrath its opportunity. For it is written, “Vengeance is Mine. I will repay”, says the Lord.

²⁰ Therefore, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he thirsts, give him drink. For in so doing, you shall heap coals of fire on his head.”

²¹ Be not overcome by evil. But, overcome evil with good.
