⁵The righteousness of the blameless ^(A)keeps his way straight,
but the wicked falls by his own wickedness.

but the wicked fall in their wickedness.

²⁰Those of ^(A)crooked heart are ^(B)an abomination to the Lord,
but those of ^(C)blameless ways are ^(D)his delight.

²⁰The Lord detests a crooked heart,
but he favors those whose path is innocent.

¹⁰Whoever misleads the upright into an evil way
^(A)will fall into his own pit,
but the blameless ^(B)will have a goodly inheritance.

¹⁰Whoever misleads those who do right onto an evil path
will fall into their own pit,
but the blameless will inherit good things.
