11 A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh,
but accurate weights are his delight.

Proverbs 11:1

International Standard Version

11 The Lord hates false scales,
but he delights in accurate weights.

¹¹Honest balances and scales are Yahweh’s;
all the weights in the bag are his work.

¹¹Honest scales and balances are from the Lord;
he made all the weights in the bag.

¹⁰Differing weights and differing measures,
both of them alike are an abomination to Yahweh.

¹⁰False^[a] weights and measures—
the Lord surely detests both of them.

²³Yahweh detests differing weights,
and dishonest scales are not pleasing.

²³The Lord detests differing weights,
and dishonest scales are not good.
