Matthew 11:25-30 Wycliffe Bible (WYC)

25 In that time Jesus answered, and said, I acknowledge to thee, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, for thou hast hid these things from wise men, and ready [In that time, Jesus answering said, I acknowledge to thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for thou hast hid these things from wise men and prudent], and hast showed them to little children;

26 so, Father, for so it was pleasing before thee.

27 All things be given to me of my Father; and no man knew the Son, but the Father, neither any man knew the Father, but the Son, and to whom the Son would show.[a]

28 All ye that travail, and be charged, come to me, and I shall fulfill you [and I shall refresh, or fulfill, you].

29 Take ye my yoke on you [Take ye my yoke upon you], and learn ye of me, for I am mild and meek in heart; and ye shall find rest to your souls.

30 For my yoke is soft, and my charge is light [and my charge is light, or easy].

  1. Matthew 11:27 All things be taken to me of my Father; and no man knoweth the Son, no but the Father, neither any man knoweth the Father, no but the Son, and to whom the Son will show.

Matthew 11:25-30 New Matthew Bible (NMB)

25 At that time Jesus concluded and said, I praise you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hid these things from the wise and learned, and have revealed them to babes; 26 Even so, Father, for so it pleased you.

27 All things are given to me by my Father. And no one knows the Son but the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the person to whom the Son will reveal him.

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I give thee thanks, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise, and men of understanding, and hast [a]opened them unto babes.

26 It is [b]so, O Father, because thy [c]good pleasure was such.

27 [d]All things are given unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father: neither knoweth any man the Father, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

28 Come unto me, all ye that are weary and laden, and I will ease you.

29 Take my yoke on you, and learn of me that I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is [e]easy, and my burden light.

Matthew 11:25-30 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. 27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
