James 1:13-15
New American Standard Bible
13 No one is to say when he is tempted, “(A)I am being tempted [a]by God”; for God cannot be tempted [b]by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. 15 Then (B)when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and (C)sin, when it has run its course, brings forth death.

Disciples’ Literal New Testament
But Temptation To Evil Comes From Within, Not From God
13 Let no one being tempted be saying that “I am being tempted by[a] God”. For God is not-tempted by evils. And He Himself tempts no one, 14 but each one is tempted by[b] his own desire while being drawn-away[c] and enticed[d]. 15 Then the desire, having conceived, gives-birth to sin. And the sin, having been fully-formed[e], brings-forth death.
