The Reign and Captivity of Jehoiachin^(A)

^9 (B)Jehoiachin was ^[a]eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months and ten days. And he did evil in the sight of the Lord. ¹⁰ At the turn of the year ^(C)King Nebuchadnezzar summoned him and took him to Babylon, ^(D)with the costly articles from the house of the Lord, and made ^(E)Zedekiah,^{[b] [c]}Jehoiakim’s brother, king over Judah and Jerusalem.
