^11 [a]In Him we also ^(A)have obtained an inheritance, having been ^(B)predestined ^(C)according to the purpose of Him who works all things ^(D)in accordance with the plan of His will, ¹² to the end that ^[b]we who were the first to hope in the ^[c]Christ would be ^(E)to the praise of His glory. ¹³ In ^[d]Him, ^[e]you also, after listening to ^(F)the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also ^[f]believed, you were ^(G)sealed in ^[g]Him with ^(H)the Holy Spirit of the promise, ¹⁴ who is a ^(I)first installment of ^(J)our inheritance, in regard to the ^(K)redemption of ^(L)God’s own possession, ^(M)to the praise of His glory.

⁸ For ^(A)by grace you have been saved ^(B)through faith; and ^[a]this is not of yourselves, it is ^(C)the gift of God; ^9 (D)not a result of works, so that ^(E)no one may boast.
