Ou pa bezwen pè move maladi k'ap tonbe sou moun nan mitan lannwit, ni epidemi k'ap touye moun gwo midi.

13 W'ap mache sou lyon ak sou sèpan, w'ap kraze jenn ti lyon yo ak eskòpyon yo anba pye ou.

14 Bondye di: M'ap sove moun ki renmen mwen, m'ap pwoteje moun ki konnen mwen.

15 Lè l' rele m', m'ap reponn li. Lè l' nan tray, m'ap la avèk li. M'ap delivre l', m'ap fè yo respekte l'.

16 M'ap fè l' viv lontan, m'a fè l' wè jan m'ap delivre l'.

¶ (92:8) Mechan yo ap grandi tankou zèb, moun k'ap fè mal yo ap wè zafè yo mache byen, men yon lè yo tout gen pou disparèt nèt.

12 (92:13) Moun k'ap mache dwat yo pral pouse tankou palmis, y'ap grandi tankou pye sèd nan peyi Liban.

13 (92:14) Yo tankou pyebwa yo plante nan kay Seyè a, y'ap pouse bèl branch nan tanp Bondye nou an.

14 (92:15) Yo te mèt granmoun, y'ap donnen, y'ap toujou vèt, y'ap toujou gen fòs.

15 (92:16) Sa fè nou wè jan Seyè a pa gen patipri. Se li ki tout pwoteksyon mwen. Pa gen lenjistis nan kè li.

93 ¶ Seyè a ap gouvènen. Gade jan li gen pouvwa! Gade jan li gen fòs! Latè kanpe fèm nan plas li, anyen pa ka brannen l'.

Seyè, gouvènman ou lan chita fèm depi nan tan lontan. Ou menm, ou la depi tout tan.

Larivyè yo desann, Seyè, larivyè yo ap fè bri. Larivyè yo desann, y'ap fè gwo bri.

Men, Seyè a se sèl chèf nan syèl la. Li gen plis pouvwa pase lanmè a ki fin debòde, li pi fò pase lanm lanmè yo k'ap fè bri.

Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter(A) of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow(B) of the Almighty.[a]
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge(C) and my fortress,(D)
    my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare(E)
    and from the deadly pestilence.(F)
He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;(G)
    his faithfulness will be your shield(H) and rampart.
You will not fear(I) the terror of night,
    nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
    nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
    ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
    and see the punishment of the wicked.(J)

If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
    and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm(K) will overtake you,
    no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels(L) concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;(M)
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.(N)
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.(O)

14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.(P)
16 With long life(Q) I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.(R)

Psalm 92[c]

A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day.

It is good to praise the Lord
    and make music(S) to your name,(T) O Most High,(U)
proclaiming your love in the morning(V)
    and your faithfulness at night,
to the music of the ten-stringed lyre(W)
    and the melody of the harp.(X)

For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord;
    I sing for joy(Y) at what your hands have done.(Z)
How great are your works,(AA) Lord,
    how profound your thoughts!(AB)
Senseless people(AC) do not know,
    fools do not understand,
that though the wicked spring up like grass
    and all evildoers flourish,
    they will be destroyed forever.(AD)

But you, Lord, are forever exalted.

For surely your enemies(AE), Lord,
    surely your enemies will perish;
    all evildoers will be scattered.(AF)
10 You have exalted my horn[d](AG) like that of a wild ox;(AH)
    fine oils(AI) have been poured on me.
11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries;
    my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.(AJ)

12 The righteous will flourish(AK) like a palm tree,
    they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;(AL)
13 planted in the house of the Lord,
    they will flourish in the courts of our God.(AM)
14 They will still bear fruit(AN) in old age,
    they will stay fresh and green,
15 proclaiming, “The Lord is upright;
    he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.(AO)

Psalm 93

The Lord reigns,(AP) he is robed in majesty;(AQ)
    the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength;(AR)
    indeed, the world is established,(AS) firm and secure.(AT)
Your throne was established(AU) long ago;
    you are from all eternity.(AV)

The seas(AW) have lifted up, Lord,
    the seas have lifted up their voice;(AX)
    the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.(AY)
Mightier than the thunder(AZ) of the great waters,
    mightier than the breakers(BA) of the sea—
    the Lord on high is mighty.(BB)

Your statutes, Lord, stand firm;
    holiness(BC) adorns your house(BD)
    for endless days.

Okontrè, se pou nou chak chache fè frè parèy nou plezi pou byen l', konsa n'a fè l' grandi nan konfyans li nan Bondye.

Paske Kris la pa t' chache sa ki te fè l' plezi, men dapre sa ki ekri a: Moun ki t'ap joure ou yo, se tankou si se mwen menm yo t'ap joure.

Se konsa, tou sa ki te ekri nan Liv la depi nan tan lontan, yo te ekri yo pou moutre nou anpil bagay, wi, pou bagay nou jwenn ekri nan Liv la ka ban nou pasyans ak ankourajman pou n' ka mete tout espwa nou nan Bondye.

¶ Se pou Bondye ki bay pasyans ak ankourajman an fè nou viv byen yonn ak lòt, pou nou ka swiv egzanp nou jwenn nan Jezikri.

Konsa, n'a mete kè nou ak bouch nou ansanm pou fè lwanj Bondye, papa Jezikri, Seyè nou an.

Nasyon yo va mete espwa yo nan li.

13 ¶ Mwen mande Bondye ki bay espwa a pou l' fè kè nou kontan nèt, pou l' fè kè nou poze ak konfyans nou gen nan li a. Se konsa espwa nou va toujou ap grandi ak pouvwa Sentespri a.

15 We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak(A) and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good,(B) to build them up.(C) For even Christ did not please himself(D) but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”[a](E) For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us,(F) so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind(G) toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify(H) the God and Father(I) of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Accept one another,(J) then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews[b](K) on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises(L) made to the patriarchs might be confirmed and, moreover, that the Gentiles(M) might glorify God(N) for his mercy. As it is written:

“Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles;
    I will sing the praises of your name.”[c](O)

10 Again, it says,

“Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”[d](P)

11 And again,

“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles;
    let all the peoples extol him.”[e](Q)

12 And again, Isaiah says,

“The Root of Jesse(R) will spring up,
    one who will arise to rule over the nations;
    in him the Gentiles will hope.”[f](S)

13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace(T) as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.(U)
