Matthew 10:5-8 The Message (MSG)

5-8 Jesus sent his twelve harvest hands out with this charge:

“Don’t begin by traveling to some far-off place to convert unbelievers. And don’t try to be dramatic by tackling some public enemy. Go to the lost, confused people right here in the neighborhood. Tell them that the kingdom is here. Bring health to the sick. Raise the dead. Touch the untouchables. Kick out the demons. You have been treated generously, so live generously.

Matthew 10:5-8 The Passion Translation (TPT)

Jesus commissioned these twelve to go out into the ripened harvest fields with these instructions: “Don’t go into any non-Jewish or Samaritan territory.[a] Go instead and find the lost sheep[b] among the people of Israel. And as you go, preach this message: ‘Heaven’s kingdom realm is accessible, close enough to touch.’[c] You must continually bring healing to lepers and to those who are sick,[d] and make it your habit to break off the demonic presence from people,[e] and raise the dead back to life. Freely[f] you have received the power of the kingdom, so freely release it to others.
