Titus 3:7-9

New International Version

⁷ so that, having been justified by his grace,^(A) we might become heirs^(B) having the hope^(C) of eternal life.^{(D) 8} This is a trustworthy saying.^(E) And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good.^(F) These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.

⁹ But avoid^(G) foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels^(H) about the law,^(I) because these are unprofitable and useless.^(J)
