¹¹ knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

²⁶ For ^(A)if we go on sinning deliberately ^(B)after receiving the knowledge of the truth, ^(C)there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

¹⁴ Remind them of these things, and ^(A)charge them before God^{[a] (B)}not to quarrel about words, ^(C)which does no good, but only ruins the hearers.

^19 (A)holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have ^(B)made shipwreck of their faith, ²⁰ among whom are ^(C)Hymenaeus and ^(D)Alexander, whom I ^(E)have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to ^(F)blaspheme.

¹⁹ Now we know that whatever ^(A)the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, ^(B)so that every mouth may be stopped, and ^(C)the whole world may be held accountable to God.

²⁴ Since we have heard that ^(A)some persons have gone out from us and ^(B)troubled you^[a] with words, unsettling your minds, although we gave them no instructions,

²⁶ But his master answered him, ‘You ^(A)wicked and ^(B)slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? ²⁷ Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. ²⁸ So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents.
