² And when Jacob saw them he said, “This is God's ^(A)camp!” So he called the name of that place ^(B)Mahanaim.^[a]

² and to him Abraham apportioned a tenth part of everything. He is first, by translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then he is also king of Salem, that is, king of peace.

^10 (A)when he comes on ^(B)that day ^(C)to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our ^(D)testimony to you ^(E)was believed.

The Whole Armor of God

¹⁰ Finally, ^(A)be strong in the Lord and in ^(B)the strength of his might. ^11 (C)Put on ^(D)the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against ^(E)the schemes of the devil. ¹² For ^(F)we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against ^(G)the rulers, against the authorities, against ^(H)the cosmic powers over ^(I)this present darkness, against ^(J)the spiritual forces of evil ^(K)in the heavenly places. ¹³ Therefore ^(L)take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in ^(M)the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. ¹⁴ Stand therefore, ^(N)having fastened on the belt of truth, and ^(O)having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and, ^(P)as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In all circumstances take up ^(Q)the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all ^(R)the flaming darts of ^(S)the evil one; ¹⁷ and take ^(T)the helmet of salvation, and ^(U)the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, ¹⁸ praying ^(V)at all times ^(W)in the Spirit, ^(X)with all prayer and supplication. To that end, ^(Y)keep alert with all perseverance, making ^(Z)supplication for all the saints, ¹⁹ and ^(AA)also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth ^(AB)boldly to proclaim ^(AC)the mystery of the gospel,

¹⁴ For ^(A)he himself is our peace, ^(B)who has made us both one and has broken down ^(C)in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility ¹⁵ by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ^(D)ordinances, that he might create in himself one ^(E)new man in place of the two, so making peace, ¹⁶ and might ^(F)reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. ¹⁷ And he came and ^(G)preached peace to you who were ^(H)far off and peace to those who were ^(I)near.

¹⁷ For ^(A)the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, ^(B)to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

²³ but I see in my members ^(A)another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.

²⁹ Or ^(A)is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,

¹⁶ And ^(A)I have other sheep that are not of this fold. ^(B)I must bring them also, and ^(C)they will listen to my voice. So there will be ^(D)one flock, ^(E)one shepherd.
