⁵ through whom ^(A)we have received grace and ^(B)apostleship ^(C)to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name ^(D)among all the nations,

¹³ Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then as ^(A)I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry

¹⁶ to be ^(A)a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles ^(B)in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that ^(C)the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

¹⁶ was pleased to reveal his Son to^[a] me, in order ^(A)that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone;^[b]

² I went up because of a revelation and set before them (though privately before those ^(A)who seemed influential) the gospel that ^(B)I proclaim among the Gentiles, ^(C)in order to make sure I was not running or had not ^(D)run in vain.

⁷ On the contrary, when they saw that I had been ^(A)entrusted with ^(B)the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised ⁸ (for he who worked through Peter for his apostolic ministry to the circumcised worked also through me for mine to the Gentiles), ⁹ and when James and Cephas and John, ^(C)who seemed to be ^(D)pillars, perceived the ^(E)grace that was given to me, they ^(F)gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

^7 (A)Of this gospel I was made ^(B)a minister according to the gift of ^(C)God's grace, which was given me ^(D)by the working of his power. ⁸ To me, ^(E)though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, ^(F)to preach to the Gentiles the ^(G)unsearchable ^(H)riches of Christ,

^7 (A)For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (^(B)I am telling the truth, I am not lying), ^(C)a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

¹⁷ But ^(A)the Lord stood by me and ^(B)strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and ^(C)all the Gentiles might hear it. So ^(D)I was rescued ^(E)from the lion's mouth.
