Romans 7:23

²³but I see another law at work in me, waging war^(A) against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin^(B) at work within me.

²³But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

²⁵Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!^(A)

So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law,^(B) but in my sinful nature^[a] a slave to the law of sin.^(C)

²⁵I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
