May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind(A) toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify(B) the God and Father(C) of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Accept one another,(D) then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews[a](E) on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises(F) made to the patriarchs might be confirmed and, moreover, that the Gentiles(G) might glorify God(H) for his mercy. As it is written:

“Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles;
    I will sing the praises of your name.”[b](I)

10 Again, it says,

“Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”[c](J)

11 And again,

“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles;
    let all the peoples extol him.”[d](K)

12 And again, Isaiah says,

“The Root of Jesse(L) will spring up,
    one who will arise to rule over the nations;
    in him the Gentiles will hope.”[e](M)

13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace(N) as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.(O)

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

10 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Glorify God Together

Therefore (C)receive one another, just (D)as Christ also received [a]us, to the glory of God. Now I say that (E)Jesus Christ has become a [b]servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, (F)to confirm the promises made to the fathers, and (G)that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written:

(H)“For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles,
And sing to Your name.”

10 And again he says:

(I)“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!”

11 And again:

(J)“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles!
Laud Him, all you peoples!”

12 And again, Isaiah says:

(K)“There shall be a root of Jesse;
And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles,
In Him the Gentiles shall hope.”

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all (L)joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
