⁸ First, ^(A)I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that ^(B)your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

¹⁹ For ^(A)your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be ^(B)wise in what is good, and ^[a]simple concerning evil.

¹⁴ Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us ^[a]diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

⁴ so that ^(A)we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God ^(B)for your patience and faith ^(C)in all your persecutions and ^[a]tribulations that you endure,
