4 and was appointed to be the powerful(A) Son of God(B) according to the Spirit of holiness[a] by the resurrection of the dead.
4 and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power[a](A) by his resurrection from the dead:(B) Jesus Christ our Lord.(C)
14 For the unbelieving husband is made holy(A) by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy by the husband.[a] Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is they are holy.
14 For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.(A)
7 So then, dear friends, since we have these promises,(A) let us cleanse ourselves from every impurity of the flesh and spirit,(B) bringing holiness to completion[a] in the fear of God.(C)
