Israel’s Rejection of Christ

9 I ^(A)tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit,

^7 (A)for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth ^[a]in Christ and not lying—^(B)a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

⁹ For ^(A)God is my witness, ^(B)whom I serve ^[a]with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that ^(C)without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

²⁰ (Now concerning the things which I write to you, indeed, before God, I do not lie.)

⁸ For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.

^19 (A)Again, ^[a]do you think that we excuse ourselves to you? ^(B)We speak before God in Christ. ^(C)But we do all things, beloved, for your edification.

^10 (A)As the truth of Christ is in me, ^(B)no one shall stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

^16 (A)The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

¹⁹ And by this we ^[a]know ^(A)that we are of the truth, and shall ^[b]assure our hearts before Him. ^20 (B)For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. ²¹ Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, ^(C)we have confidence toward God.

²¹ I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the ^[a]elect angels that you observe these things without ^(A)prejudice, doing nothing with partiality.
