¹⁵ Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, ^(A)because of the grace given to me by God,

Serve God with Spiritual Gifts

³ For I say, ^(A)through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, ^(B)not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt ^(C)to each one a measure of faith.

¹⁰ But ^(A)by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, ^(B)yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

⁶ Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is ^(A)given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us ^(B)prophesy in proportion to our faith;

⁵ Through Him ^(A)we have received grace and apostleship for ^(B)obedience to the faith among all nations ^(C)for His name,

¹³ These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, ^[a]and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

¹⁵ and consider that ^(A)the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,

^10 (A)As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, ^(B)as good stewards of ^(C)the manifold grace of God. ^11 (D)If anyone speaks, let him speak as the ^[a]oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that ^(E)in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the ^[b]dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Contend for the Faith

³ Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you ^(A)concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting ^(B)you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. ⁴ For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord ^[a]God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Old and New Apostates

⁵ But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that ^(C)the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
