²³ But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for ^(A)whatever is not from faith is ^[a]sin.

⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

^15 (A)To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

²⁹ For he who eats and drinks ^[a]in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the ^[b]Lord’s body. ³⁰ For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many ^[c]sleep. ³¹ For ^(A)if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.

⁷ However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, ^(A)with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is ^(B)defiled.

^5 (A)One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.

² Therefore whoever resists ^(A)the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will ^[a]bring judgment on themselves.
