¹⁵ Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.^(A)

²⁶ If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

³ Continue to remember those in prison^(A) as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

¹⁷ But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering^(A) on the sacrifice^(B) and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.^{(C) 18} So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.

³³ When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved^(A) in spirit and troubled.^{(B) 34} “Where have you laid him?” he asked.

“Come and see, Lord,” they replied.

³⁵ Jesus wept.^(C)

³⁶ Then the Jews said, “See how he loved him!”^(D)

⁵⁸ Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they shared her joy.

²⁹ Who is weak, and I do not feel weak?^(A) Who is led into sin,^(B) and I do not inwardly burn?

³ I wrote as I did,^(A) so that when I came I would not be distressed^(B) by those who should have made me rejoice. I had confidence^(C) in all of you, that you would all share my joy.
