¹⁷ But if ^(A)some of the branches were broken off, and you, ^(B)although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root^[a] of the olive tree,

One in Christ

¹¹ Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called ^(A)the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— ¹² remember ^(B)that you were at that time separated from Christ, ^(C)alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to ^(D)the covenants of promise, ^(E)having no hope and without God in the world. ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who once were ^(F)far off have been brought near ^(G)by the blood of Christ.

¹⁶ The Lord once called you ^(A)‘a green olive tree, beautiful with good fruit.’ But ^(B)with the roar of a great tempest he will set fire to it, and ^(C)its branches will be consumed.

⁶ This mystery is^[a] that the Gentiles are ^(A)fellow heirs, ^(B)members of the same body, and ^(C)partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

^2 (A)Every branch in me that does not bear fruit ^(B)he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, ^(C)that it may bear more fruit.

^13 (A)And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God ^(B)made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

³⁹ For ^(A)the promise is for you and ^(B)for your children and for all ^(C)who are far off, everyone ^(D)whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

⁴³ Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God ^(A)will be taken away from you and given to a people ^(B)producing its fruits.
