⁹ that ^(A)if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Confess Christ Before Men^(A)

^8 (B)“Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me ^(C)before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God.

³¹ So they said, ^(A)“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

¹¹ and ^(A)that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Confess Christ Before Men^(A)

^32 (B)“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, ^(C)him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. ^33 (D)But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

² By this you know the Spirit of God: ^(A)Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, ³ and every spirit that does not confess ^[a]that Jesus ^[b]Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

²¹ who through Him believe in God, ^(A)who raised Him from the dead and ^(B)gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

¹⁴ And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. ¹⁵ Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because ^(A)we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. ¹⁶ For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. ¹⁷ And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; ^(B)you are still in your sins! ¹⁸ Then also those who have ^[a]fallen ^(C)asleep in Christ have perished.

^34 (A)Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, ^(B)who is even at the right hand of God, ^(C)who also makes intercession for us.
