¹⁴ I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to wise and to unwise.

¹⁰ Therefore ^(A)I endure all things for the sake of the ^[a]elect, ^(B)that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

¹¹ where there is neither ^(A)Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, ^(B)but Christ is all and in all.

¹⁷ I will ^[a]deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, ^(A)to whom I ^[b]now send you, ^18 (B)to open their eyes, in order ^(C)to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, ^(D)that they may receive forgiveness of sins and ^(E)an inheritance among those who are ^(F)sanctified^[c] by faith in Me.’

²¹ Then He said to me, ‘Depart, ^(A)for I will send you far from here to the Gentiles.’ ”

² As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, ^(A)“Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work ^(B)to which I have called them.” ³ Then, ^(C)having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.

Preaching in Cyprus

⁴ So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to ^(D)Cyprus.

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, “Go, for ^(A)he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before ^(B)Gentiles, ^(C)kings, and the ^(D)children^[a] of Israel.

¹⁷ But ^(A)the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, ^(B)without partiality ^(C)and without hypocrisy. ^18 (D)Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

³ For ^(A)we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.
