⁴ Christ is the culmination of the law^(A) so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.^(B)

⁹ The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”^[a](A) and whatever other command there may be, are summed up^(B) in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”^[b](C)

¹⁶ What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?^(A) For we are the temple^(B) of the living God.^(C) As God has said:

¹² The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”^[a](A)

¹⁶ for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”^[a](A)
