9 They sing a new song, which goes like this:
“You are worthy to take the scroll;
you are worthy to open its seals;
for you were slaughtered and with your own blood
you purchased a people for God,
from every tribe and tongue,
from every people and nation
10 and made them a kingdom and priests to our God
and they will reign on the earth.”
11 As I watched, I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures and the elders. Their number was ten thousand times ten thousand, thousands upon thousands,

and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood(C) you purchased(D) for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.(E)
10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests(F) to serve our God,
and they will reign[a] on the earth.”(G)
11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand.(H) They encircled the throne and the living creatures(I) and the elders.(J)
