^8 (A)But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, ^(B)their portion will be in ^(C)the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is ^(D)the second death.”

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous^[a] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: ^(A)neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,^{[b] 10} nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

^15 (A)Outside are ^(B)the dogs ^(C)and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

¹⁴ Then ^(A)Death and Hades ^(B)were thrown into the lake of fire. This is ^(C)the second death, the lake of fire. ¹⁵ And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, ^(D)he was thrown into the lake of fire.

⁵ For you may be sure of this, that ^(A)everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (^(B)that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. ^6 (C)Let no one ^(D)deceive you with empty words, for because of these things ^(E)the wrath of God comes upon ^(F)the sons of disobedience.
