After these things I looked, and the Temple of the Tent of Witness in heaven was opened. Out of the Temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, dressed in pure bright linen and wearing wide gold sashes around their chests.

Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. And the Temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power.[a] No one was able to enter the Temple until the seven angels’ seven plagues were finished.

After this I looked, and I saw in heaven the temple(A)—that is, the tabernacle of the covenant law(B)—and it was opened.(C) Out of the temple(D) came the seven angels with the seven plagues.(E) They were dressed in clean, shining linen(F) and wore golden sashes around their chests.(G) Then one of the four living creatures(H) gave to the seven angels(I) seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.(J) And the temple was filled with smoke(K) from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple(L) until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
