¹⁰ the twenty-four elders^(A) fall down before him^(B) who sits on the throne^(C) and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

⁸ And when he had taken it, the four living creatures^(A) and the twenty-four elders^(B) fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp^(C) and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers^(D) of God’s people.

¹⁴ The four living creatures^(A) said, “Amen,”^(B) and the elders^(C) fell down and worshiped.^(D)

⁴ Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders.^(A) They were dressed in white^(B) and had crowns of gold on their heads.

⁴ The twenty-four elders^(A) and the four living creatures^(B) fell down^(C) and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried:

¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders,^(A) who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces^(B) and worshiped God,

¹¹ All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders^(A) and the four living creatures.^(B) They fell down on their faces^(C) before the throne and worshiped God,

¹⁴ “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?^(F) Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.^{(G) 15} We are foreigners and strangers^(H) in your sight, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow,^(I) without hope. ¹⁶ Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a temple for your Holy Name comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you.
