²⁰ Behold, ^(A)I stand at the door and knock. ^(B)If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, ^(C)I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

³⁶ and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. ^37 (A)Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.

^21 (A)He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and ^[a]manifest Myself to him.”

^22 (B)Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”

²³ Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, ^(C)and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

⁹ Then he said to me, “Write: ^(A)‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, ^(B)“These are the true sayings of God.”

³³ So you also, when you see all these things, know ^(A)that ^[a]it is near—at the doors!

⁸ But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself ^(A)and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’?
