⁷ He who overcomes ^[a]shall inherit all things, and ^(A)I will be his God and he shall be My son.

³ And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, ^(A)the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

The Command to Love

3 Behold ^(A)what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that ^(B)we should be called children of ^[a]God! Therefore the world does not know ^[b]us, ^(C)because it did not know Him. ² Beloved, ^(D)now we are children of God; and ^(E)it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, ^(F)we shall be like Him, for ^(G)we shall see Him as He is. ^3 (H)And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

¹⁷ “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden ^(A)manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone ^(B)a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ’

A Heavenly Inheritance

^3 (A)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who ^(B)according to His abundant mercy ^(C)has begotten us again to a living hope ^(D)through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ to an inheritance ^[a]incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, ^(E)reserved in heaven for you,

¹⁰ For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the ^(A)Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and ^(B)I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

³⁴ Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, ^(A)inherit the kingdom ^(B)prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

^11 (A)“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by ^(B)the second death.” ’
