^11 (A)having the glory of God, ^(B)its radiance ^(C)like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.

⁵ And ^(A)night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp ^(B)or sun, for ^(C)the Lord God will be their light, and ^(D)they will reign forever and ever.

⁶ and before the throne there was ^(A)as it were a sea of glass, like crystal.

And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are ^(B)four living creatures, ^(C)full of eyes in front and behind:

The River of Life

22 Then the angel^[a] showed me ^(A)the river of ^(B)the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

¹⁸ The wall was built of ^(A)jasper, while the city was pure gold, like ^(B)clear glass. ^19 (C)The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of jewel. The first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald,

²² Over the heads of the living creatures there was ^(A)the likeness of an expanse, shining like awe-inspiring ^(B)crystal, spread out above their heads.

³ And he who sat there had the appearance of ^(A)jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was ^(B)a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald.

³⁵ The circumference of the city shall be 18,000 cubits. And ^(A)the name of the city from that time on shall be, ^(B)The Lord Is There.”

²⁶ And above the expanse over their heads there was ^(A)the likeness of a throne, ^(B)in appearance ^(C)like sapphire;^[a] and seated above the likeness of a throne was ^(D)a likeness with a human appearance.
