The Message to Thyatira

¹⁸ “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze:^(A)

¹⁴ His head and his hair were white as white wool, white as snow; his eyes were like a flame of fire;^{(A) 15} his feet were like burnished bronze, refined as in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of many waters.^(B)

¹¹ saying, “Write in a book what you see, and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamum, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

³⁵ The Father loves the Son and has placed all things in his hands.^{(A) 36} Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life but must endure God’s wrath.^(B)

¹⁷ And a voice from the heavens said, “This is my Son, the Beloved,^[a] with whom I am well pleased.”^(A)

³² He who did not withhold his own Son but gave him up for all of us, how will he not with him also give us everything else?

⁴ and was declared to be Son of God with power according to the spirit^[a] of holiness by resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,^(A)

³⁶ can you say that the one whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world is blaspheming because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?^(A)

²⁵ “Very truly, I tell you, the hour is coming and is now here when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.^(A)
