⁶ Out of the temple^(A) came the seven angels with the seven plagues.^(B) They were dressed in clean, shining linen^(C) and wore golden sashes around their chests.^(D)

¹³ and among the lampstands^(A) was someone like a son of man,^[a](B) dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet^(C) and with a golden sash around his chest.^(D)

Seven Angels With Seven Plagues

15 I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign:^(A) seven angels^(B) with the seven last plagues^(C)—last, because with them God’s wrath is completed.

¹⁷ “‘When they enter the gates of the inner court, they are to wear linen clothes;^(A) they must not wear any woolen garment while ministering at the gates of the inner court or inside the temple. ¹⁸ They are to wear linen turbans^(B) on their heads and linen undergarments^(C) around their waists. They must not wear anything that makes them perspire.^(D)

¹⁵ Then another angel came out of the temple^(A) and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle^(B) and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest^(C) of the earth is ripe.”

⁴ While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning^(A) stood beside them.

⁵ Have them use gold, and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and fine linen.^(A)

The Ephod^(B)

⁶ “Make the ephod^(C) of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen—the work of skilled hands. ⁷ It is to have two shoulder pieces attached to two of its corners, so it can be fastened. ⁸ Its skillfully woven waistband^(D) is to be like it—of one piece with the ephod and made with gold, and with blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and with finely twisted linen.
