¹⁸ And another angel came out from the altar, ^(A)the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, ^(B)for its grapes are ripe.”

⁸ The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people ^(A)with fire.

¹⁵ And another angel ^(A)came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, ^(B)“Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for ^(C)the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” ¹⁶ So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.

⁹ When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under ^(A)the altar ^(B)the souls of those who had been slain ^(C)for the word of God and for ^(D)the witness they had borne. ¹⁰ They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, ^(E)holy and true, ^(F)how long ^(G)before you will judge and ^(H)avenge our blood on ^(I)those who dwell on the earth?”
