⁶ It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling,^[a] that is, those who dwell in heaven.

¹² Therefore, ^(A)rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But ^(B)woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because ^(C)he knows that his time is short!”

²⁴ For Christ has entered, not into holy places ^(A)made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God ^(B)on our behalf.

¹⁹ For out of the heart come ^(A)evil thoughts, ^(B)murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, ^(C)slander.

^34 (A)You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, ^(B)when you are evil? ^(C)For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

³ And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, ^(A)the dwelling place^[a] of God is with man. He will ^(B)dwell with them, and they will be his people,^[b] and God himself will be with them as their God.^[c]

Rejoicing in Heaven

19 After this I heard ^(A)what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out,

³ Once more they cried out,

⁴ And ^(G)the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!” ⁵ And from the throne came a voice saying,

⁶ Then I heard what seemed to be ^(J)the voice of a great multitude, like ^(K)the roar of many waters and ^(L)like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

¹² Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, ^(A)“Come up here!” And ^(B)they went up to heaven ^(C)in a cloud, and their enemies watched them.
