¹³ And at that hour there was ^(A)a great earthquake, and ^(B)a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and ^(C)gave glory to ^(D)the God of heaven.

⁷ And he said with a loud voice, ^(A)“Fear God and ^(B)give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and ^(C)worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the ^(D)springs of water.”

¹² When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, ^(A)there was a great earthquake, and ^(B)the sun became black as ^(C)sackcloth, the full moon became like blood,

¹⁹ Then Joshua said to Achan, “My son, ^(A)give glory to the Lord God of Israel and ^(B)give praise^[a] to him. And ^(C)tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.”

¹⁸ And there were ^(A)flashes of lightning, rumblings,^[a] peals of thunder, and ^(B)a great earthquake ^(C)such as there had never been since man was on the earth, so great was that earthquake. ^19 (D)The great city ^(E)was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God ^(F)remembered ^(G)Babylon the great, ^(H)to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath.

⁹ They were scorched by the fierce heat, and ^(A)they cursed^[a] the name of God who had power over these plagues. ^(B)They did not repent ^(C)and give him glory.

¹⁰ The fifth angel poured out his bowl on ^(D)the throne of the beast, and ^(E)its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish ¹¹ and cursed ^(F)the God of heaven for their pain and ^(G)sores. ^(H)They did not repent of their deeds.

¹⁹ Then ^(A)God's temple in heaven was opened, and ^(B)the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings,^[a] peals of thunder, an earthquake, and ^(C)heavy hail.

⁵ Then the angel took the censer and ^(A)filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and ^(B)there were peals of ^(C)thunder, rumblings,^[a] flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
