For the choir director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.
47 O clap your hands, all peoples; Shout to God with the voice of [a]joy. 2 For the Lord Most High is to be feared, A great King over all the earth. 3 He subdues peoples under us And nations under our feet. 4 He chooses our inheritance for us, The glory of Jacob whom He loves. [b]Selah.
5 God has ascended [c]with a shout, The Lord, [d]with the sound of a trumpet. 6 Sing praises to God, sing praises; Sing praises to our King, sing praises. 7 For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with a [e]skillful psalm. 8 God reigns over the nations, God [f]sits on His holy throne. 9 The [g]princes of the people have assembled themselves as the people of the God of Abraham, For the shields of the earth belong to God; He [h]is highly exalted.
12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! 13 For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons within you. 14 He makes [a]peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the [b]finest of the wheat. 15 He sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly. 16 He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes. 17 He casts forth His ice as fragments; Who can stand before His cold? 18 He sends forth His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow. 19 He declares His words to Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances to Israel. 20 He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His ordinances, they have not known them. [c]Praise [d]the Lord!
9 “I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was[a]ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire. 10 “A river of fire was flowing And coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court sat, And the books were opened.
11 Then I kept looking because of the sound of the [b]boastful words which the horn was speaking; I kept looking until the beast was slain, and its body was destroyed and given to the burning [c]fire.12 As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but an extension of life was granted to them for an appointed period of time.
The Son of Man Presented
13 “I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. 14 “And to Him was given dominion, Glory and [d]a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations and men of every[e]language Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed.
5 For He did not subject to angels [a]the world to come, concerning which we are speaking.6 But one has testified somewhere, saying,
“What is man, that You remember him? Or the son of man, that You are concerned about him? 7 “You have made him[b]for a little while lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, [c]And have appointed him over the works of Your hands; 8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”
For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him.
Jesus Briefly Humbled
9 But we do see Him who was made [d]for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the [e]author of their salvation through sufferings.11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are [f]sanctified are all from one Father; for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,12 saying,
“I will proclaim Your name to My brethren, In the midst of the congregation I will sing Your praise.”
13 And again,
“I will put My trust in Him.”
“Behold, I and the children whom God has given Me.”
14 Therefore, since the children share in [g]flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,15 and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.16 For assuredly He does not [h]give help to angels, but He gives help to the [i]descendant of Abraham.17 Therefore, He [j]had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.18 For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.

The Great Commission
16 But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated.17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful.18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.19 [a]Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you [b]always, even to the end of the age.”
