Psalm 37:7-11
New American Standard Bible

7 [a]Rest in the Lord and (A)wait [b]patiently for Him;
(B)Do not get upset because of one who is (C)successful in his way,
Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes.
8 Cease from anger and (D)abandon wrath;
Do not get upset; it leads only to evildoing.
9 For (E)evildoers will be eliminated,
But those who wait for the Lord, they will (F)inherit the land.
10 Yet (G)a little while and the wicked person will be no more;
And you will look carefully for (H)his place and he will not be there.
11 But (I)the humble will inherit the land
And will delight themselves in (J)abundant prosperity.

7 Be still(A) before the Lord
    and wait patiently(B) for him;
do not fret(C) when people succeed in their ways,(D)
    when they carry out their wicked schemes.(E)

8 Refrain from anger(F) and turn from wrath;
    do not fret(G)—it leads only to evil.
9 For those who are evil will be destroyed,(H)
    but those who hope(I) in the Lord will inherit the land.(J)

10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;(K)
    though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land(L)
    and enjoy peace and prosperity.(M)
