“I have installed my king(A)
    on Zion,(B) my holy mountain.(C)

I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:

He said to me, “You are my son;(D)
    today I have become your father.(E)
Ask me,
    and I will make the nations(F) your inheritance,(G)
    the ends of the earth(H) your possession.
You will break them with a rod of iron[a];(I)
    you will dash them to pieces(J) like pottery.(K)

10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;(L)
    be warned, you rulers(M) of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear(N)
    and celebrate his rule(O) with trembling.(P)
