I will (A)open my mouth in a parable;
I will tell (B)riddles of old,
Which we have heard and known,
And (C)our fathers have told us.
We will (D)not conceal them from their children,
But we will (E)tell the generation to come the praises of the Lord,
And His power and His (F)wondrous works that He has done.

For He established a (G)testimony in Jacob,
And appointed a (H)law in Israel,

(K)So that the generation to come would know, (L)the children yet to be born,
That they would arise and (M)tell them to their children,
So that they would put their confidence in God
And (N)not forget the works of God,
