Psalm 73:15-20

¹⁵ If I had said, “I will speak this way,”
Behold, I would have betrayed the ^(A)generation of Your children.
¹⁶ When I ^(B)thought of understanding this,
It was ^[a]troublesome in my sight
¹⁷ Until I entered the ^[b](C)sanctuary of God;
Then I perceived their ^(D)end.
¹⁸ You indeed put them on ^(E)slippery ground;
You dropped them into ^[c](F)ruin.
¹⁹ How they are ^[d](G)destroyed in a moment!
They are utterly swept away by ^(H)sudden terrors!
²⁰ Like a ^(I)dream when one awakes,
Lord, when ^(J)stirred, You will ^(K)despise their image.
