47 (Ein Psalm der Kinder Korah, vorzusingen.) Frohlocket mit Händen, alle Völker, und jauchzet Gott mit fröhlichem Schall!
2 Denn der HERR, der Allerhöchste, ist erschrecklich, ein großer König auf dem ganzen Erdboden.
3 Er zwingt die Völker unter uns und die Leute unter unsre Füße.
4 Er erwählt uns unser Erbteil, die Herrlichkeit Jakobs, den er liebt. (Sela.)
5 Gott fährt auf mit Jauchzen und der HERR mit heller Posaune.
6 Lobsinget, lobsinget Gott; lobsinget, lobsinget unserm König!
7 Denn Gott ist König auf dem ganzen Erdboden; lobsinget ihm klüglich!
8 Gott ist König über die Heiden; Gott sitzt auf seinem heiligen Stuhl.
9 Die Fürsten unter den Völkern sind versammelt zu einem Volk des Gottes Abrahams; denn Gottes sind die Schilde auf Erden, er hat sie erhöht.

47 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
2 For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
5 God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.

47 (B)Clap your hands, all peoples!
(C)Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
2 For the Lord, the Most High, (D)is to be feared,
(E)a great king over all the earth.
3 He (F)subdued peoples under us,
and nations under our feet.
4 He chose our (G)heritage for us,
(H)the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah
5 God (I)has gone up with a shout,
the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
